about me

  • I’ve always loved my Armenian heritage and culture, and have always loved singing.

I’ve had countless concerts in front of my mirror as a child until I started taking singing lessons and started singing in front of people instead of my mirror. I’ve been invited to sing at many community events, played roles in different amateur plays, and held my private concerts.
I’ve been introduced to many different music styles but somehow always returned to Armenian folk. In the past few years I’ve been reading and researching a lot about Armenian folk culture and songs. I fell in love with Komitas and our old traditions. I quickly realized there was so much I didn’t know about my own culture and I was sure many others didn’t either.

I strongly believe that knowledge needs to be shared. Seeing all the incredible information I was finding during my researches about different topics, I decided to share my learnings and tamarpanossian.com was born.

I often post pictures and interesting information on my Facebook page so don’t forget to like it and don’t forget to subscribe to my Youtube channel. 🙂
